Find the Right Projector for Your Space

Enter your projection distance, desired image size, installation environment, and ambient light level to get a recommended projector and lens.

Your Project

Tell us a few details about your installation.

01

Projection Distance

Measure the distance from the projector lens to the projection surface.

Example: If the projector will be installed 6 meters from the wall, enter 6 m.

02

Desired Image Diameter

How large do you want the projected logo or image to be?

m
Target lens ratio 1:0.50
03

Installation Environment

04

Ambient Light

Choose the lighting condition closest to your installation.

Recommendations are intended as a practical selection guide. Actual projection brightness and appearance may vary depending on ambient light, projection surface, artwork, installation angle, and site conditions.

Lens Guide

How Lens Ratio Works

Lens ratio determines the approximate diameter of the projected image at a given projection distance.

Projection Diameter = Projection Distance × Lens Ratio
Example 6 m × 0.5 = 3 m

At a projection distance of 6 meters, a 1:0.5 lens produces an image approximately 3 meters in diameter.

A larger lens ratio produces a larger projected image at the same distance.

Lens Options by Projector

Available lens options vary by projector model. Use this table to check which lenses are supported by each Gobosolution projector.

Wattage Guide

How Projector Wattage Is Selected

Projector wattage is primarily selected based on projection distance and ambient light conditions.

01

Projection Distance

Longer projection distances generally require higher output to maintain a clear and visible projected image.

+
02

Ambient Light

Brighter surroundings require more projector output to maintain image visibility and contrast.

03

Recommended Wattage

The Finder combines distance and ambient light to determine the minimum practical projector wattage.

Lens ratio determines image size. Wattage mainly determines whether the projected image is bright enough for the installation conditions.
